Giggling for Goats
Do you want to know how much happiness these kids have brought me?
The other morning, Paolo told me I was smiling and giggling in my sleep. Indeed, I remembered dreaming about the kids that night, their little faces looking up at me with their big eyes and adorable smiles as they hopped around on my lap and jumped up on the gate, looking for love in all the right places.
So yeah, pretty darn happy.
If I wasn’t before, I’m officially a goat lady now — indeed, Paolo has taken to calling me La Donna delle Capre, and I take that as a huge compliment.
Or do I prefer the Goat Whisperer? Hmm….

Thanks for MY giggle of the day. I can only imagine how much fun it must be to be the woman of the goats! 😮
My pleasure Beth! Don’t you just love Italian? The woman of the goats has such a nicer ring to it than Goat Lady 😉

Memo to: Attorney Capramamma, Esq., Defendant
From: Northern (but not Lega Nord) Hill Roamer, Plaintiff
Reference: Case involving spending too much time looking at Goat Photos
Attached herewith please find said Complaint regarding specified and unspecified photos known to be causing extreme depletion of valuable and non retrievable pre-guest arrival time through excessive posting of overly “cute” and “extremely adorable” goat photos. Said time will be charged back to the Defendant at a remuneration to be specified at a later date. Remuneration might involve collecting undefined articles known generally as Goatberries, arranged in a pleasant pattern, glued to a canvass to be hung in Plaintiff’s home. Please take this matter under advisement. Thank you in advance for your consideration in this important matter.
Hahaha…hilaaaaaaarious, Diana. I will tell you that one of my law school friends actually warned me that other goats might start sending “cease and desist” letters in re: the cuteness! Goat berries art, eh? Now wouldn’t THAT be some great payback for Poste Italiane? 😉
