Colbert Goes to the Goats — Again
If there is one person who clearly has a thing for goats, it’s Stephen Colbert.
He’s never come out and admitted his fascination with our caprine friends, but who can forget his hilarious bits about goats stealing American jobs and the power of a goat’s glare (in reference to The Men Who Stare at Goats)?
Well, this week he again called upon goaties to make a point, but he may have taken it too far in this Progressive’s book. He compared goats to . . . wait for it . . . Republicans!
Now I know some readers are conservative, so for your benefit, I’ll add that he also compared President Obama to a troll. Equal opportunity, that Colbert.
In this clip below, he drew an analogy between the recent debt deal and The Three Billy Goats Gruff fairy tale, and well, you just have to see it to fully appreciate:
Don’t you just love his goatie voice?
OK, so come on, Colbert. Admit it.
You’re one of us.
